Modern gymnasiums are usually multi-purpose halls that can be divided into three smaller halls by mobile partition walls. The lighting control must work for the entire hall as well as for the three smaller halls. If necessary, the automatic control system should be manually overridable. In addition, the HVAC system can also be integrated into the control system.

PD4:

The PD4 is ideally suited for sports halls. This detector has a large detection range, enables automatic and manual control of the light and can also control the HVAC system. One detector each covers a small hall. If the partition walls are raised, the detection areas overlap. If required, the detection area of the PD4 can be extended by slave devices.

For extreme heights, B.E.G. offers detectors with special lenses that are ideal for warehouses. These detectors detect movement even from a height of 16 metres and reliably switch the lighting. By using blinds, the detection area can be optimally aligned with the long aisles.
