New wall-mounted presence detectors

With the Indoor180N and the IndoorHF, B.E.G. is expanding its Indoor range with two high-performance wall-mounted presence detectors for reliable indoor lighting control. The Indoor180N impresses with its precise detection. As an improvement on its predecessor, an additional PIR sensor has been added. This is directed downwards and provides seamless detection, even below the detector. It is therefore now also suitable for installation above doors. Thanks to its detection geometry, the Indoor180N achieves stable and precise motion detection in corridors over a length of up to 28 metres.

The IndoorHF was developed for applications involving predominantly radial movements. It utilises modern 60 GHz high-frequency technology and offers uniform, rectangular coverage of 8 x 4 metres. This makes it ideal for corridors where the detector is mounted at the end of the corridor. The high frequency also significantly reduces penetration through materials such as glass, wood or plasterboard walls compared to conventional 5.8 GHz HF sensors – a clear advantage in modern building structures, where such penetration can otherwise lead to false alarms.
