In the LUXONET® building automation system from B.E.G., the fieldbus controller acts as the central link to fieldbus gateways, cloud-based project planning software and external systems. It is the central time clock and enables the reproduction of local, script-based and fieldbus gateway-independent automations as well as the efficient distribution of fieldbus gateway-isolated automations. In addition to easy scalability, this concept enables a high level of operational reliability by avoiding a single point of failure (SPoF) in the automation level.
