Casambi for lighting control and lighting scenes

Controlling luminaires, dimming them and changing the light colour - this is possible with the Casambi wireless solution in addition to DALI. The Finnish manufacturer Casambi has created an open, wireless lighting control platform based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It enables control via mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Worldwide, well-known manufacturers have now equipped a wide range of devices such as luminaires, controllers, push-buttons and sensors with a Casambi chip. B.E.G. offers the successful PD4-GH and PD4N occupancy detector models for Casambi and for Casambi to be supplemented with DALI.

KNX RF for the control of Smart Buildings

Increasing energy efficiency, automatically switching lighting on and off, dimming, changing light colour, controlling heating and air conditioning, blinds, shutters, security systems and entertainment systems - all this is conveniently possible via KNX. In the context of a refurbishment, when there are only "three wires" for the power supply in the ceiling, KNX RF is an ideal solution. Very easy to install, cost-efficient, highly flexible, scalable, KNX can be integrated advantageously by using KNX RF sensors. The recorded parameters are transmitted wirelessly to the KNX bus system. This ensures the full functional scope of building automation via KNX.
