Conventional electrical installations require more wiring and work. They therefore do not offer the high flexibility that digital networking does. Where sensors, actuators and controllers communicate with each other within a bus system, future changes in room use can be implemented easily and flexibly. This means that planning and changes can already be made today for entire rooms simply via the cloud and app, and personnel deployment and programming effort can be saved on the building construction site.

Safety lighting, emergency lighting management and access
Saving energy where there is no use, but always providing lighting where it is wanted - building automation ensures that building users can move around safely and feel at ease. Areas that are in use are automatically illuminated; safety-relevant areas are still dimmed with safety lighting when not in use. The operation and maintenance of the building's emergency lights can be taken over by the building automation system, as can access control to sensitive areas of the building exclusively for authorised persons by means of a keycard or scanner.
