Sports centre Ternat – Ternat (BE)

Due to the convincing visualisation of the use of space, the municipality opted for the DALI-SYS lighting control system from B.E.G. In the sports centre in Ternat, a DALI-SYS solution was installed consisting of two DALI-SYS routers with five DALI-SYS power supply units, which is more than sufficient to integrate all the luminaires in the sports rooms. Not all areas of the sports centre are integrated into the DALI-SYS system. Rooms with irregular, often brief use are controlled by motion and presence detectors. In the showers and changing rooms, PICOs suitable for humid rooms with IP65 are installed. The lens with a diameter of only 33mm and a visible installation height of 15mm blends inconspicuously into the ceilings. In the toilets, the PD3Ns provide presence-dependent light switching. This means that no one can forget to switch off the light. The stairs are protected by LC-ClickN 140.

DALI luminaires were installed in the offices of the sports centre, where people spend longer periods of time. The small offices are equipped with PD2-M-DALI, which detects small movements, such as working at a desk, within a range of up to 4 metres. The large offices are equipped with PD4-M-DAA4G. These detectors are powerful compact solutions that can control up to four groups of luminaires. For example, the brightness in rooms with windows on one side can be equalised. The luminaires that are further away from the window emit more light earlier than the luminaires at the window. This achieves homogeneous illumination.
