Ferrer is a B Corp company and a Great Place to Work®. The company relied on the expertise of B.E.G. to furnish its new offices in Barcelona. Spaces were created to promote flexibility, designed with comfort and well-being in mind. The WELL rating criteria were observed and the biophilic environment was improved.

B.E.G. has equipped the installations with cutting-edge technologies for innovation, efficiency and sustainability, such as the DALI-SYS integrated control system, which adapts the lighting to the specific needs of each area to combine savings, comfort and safety. In addition, natural light has been optimally used, optimal soundproofing ensured and the spaces designed to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being.

The different spaces that make up Ferrer's offices meet the criteria of environmental sustainability at all stages, in accordance with LEED certification. In Spain, there are already some factories that have achieved carbon neutrality, and others have set themselves the goal of achieving it between 2030 and 2050. In four years, pharmaceutical plants have reduced their energy expenditure by 8%, and with these new measures, B.E.G. expects this expenditure to increase significantly in the coming years.
