B.E.G. Verwaltungsgebäude – Lindlar (DE)
Eine Frage der Ehre im eigenen Gebäude
B.E.G. Headquarters – Lindlar (DE)
The administrative building of B.E.G. Brück Electronic GmbH, built in 2014, is located in the Klause industrial estate in Lindlar, Oberberg. The 3-storey building offers several thousand square meters of spacious offices, conference and meeting rooms as well as an academy and training area for the colleagues based at the site.
As a manufacturer of innovative energy-saving products and an expert in presence and motion detectors, the product managers at B.E.G. were keen to plan their own new administration building in the best possible way. It quickly became clear that the KNX BUS system was the right solution for the building. In addition to operational reliability and individual programming, the central control system was a compelling argument for the choice. Lighting control is implemented in the individual areas of the administration building with the most suitable KNX presence detectors. The more than 60 offices have an additional special feature: they are controlled by the KNX-RCT room controller developed by B.E.G., to which presence detectors, lights, blinds and push-buttons can be connected directly in each room.
The stairwells in the building were not integrated into the KNX system. The lighting in the stairwells is controlled by round lights with high-frequency presence detectors. The HF detectors are located directly in the lamp housing and detect people in the stairwell through the acrylic cover.
