To ensure safe passage through the staircase, good illumination is important. However, light that is switched on unnecessarily is a waste of energy. With demand-controlled lighting, light is switched on reliably, but only when it is really needed. An additional advantage of automatic lighting control is that no one has to search for the light switch in the dark. Also, the light is switched on automatically if there is no hand free for operating a push-button.

The Indoor 180-TR is a wall-mounted motion detector for controlling automatic staircase lighting systems and is therefore ideal for hallways, for example. Combined with the SCT1 automatic staircase lighting controller, perfect operation of the lighting is guaranteed.

Mounted on each floor, the PD2 occupancy detector detects movement and reliably switches the lighting. To save costs, it is possible to work with a master/slave circuit in which a master device is installed on the ground floor and slave devices on the other floors.
