The special challenges for lighting control in logistics halls are the extreme ceiling heights and the large areas that need to be covered. High-bay warehouses, for example, often consist of shelves 14 m high. Conventional detectors mounted in such heights have difficulties in detecting movement on the floor. In addition, the aisles between the racks are very long.

For extreme heights, B.E.G. offers detectors with special lenses that are ideal for warehouses. These detectors detect movement even from a height of 16 metres and reliably switch the lighting. By using blinds, the detection area can be optimally aligned with the long aisles.
