Multicast Technology as the Core Element

At the heart of DACO® PRO is the ability to control multiple lighting groups via a single DALI line. In combination with DALI-2 sensors (input devices from the B.E.G. “BMS” product family), multiple lighting zones can be intelligently interconnected and controlled based on real-time conditions. This eliminates the need for additional cabling, external control components, or complex system structures. This technology not only simplifies installation but also significantly reduces planning effort. At the same time, the system remains open for future modifications and expansions, making it ideal for buildings with changing usage requirements.

Innovative Lighting Control that Adapts to the Space

DACO® PRO truly demonstrates its strengths in environments with flexible room layouts. For example, sports halls, multi-purpose rooms, or event spaces can be divided into separate zones using movable partitions, with each area controlled independently. When the partitions are removed, the control groups automatically synchronize and respond collectively to presence and daylight. Fast Commissioning, Easy Operation, and Reliable Performance

DACO® PRO is configured intuitively via a smartphone app, without the need for complex programming. Sensors, control groups, and functions can be clearly arranged and flexibly adjusted at any time. Fast DALI grouping via an infrared device further simplifies the installation process. Four integrated push-button inputs, expandable with both DALI push-buttons and relays, allow for direct on-site control and ensure maximum flexibility in daily operation. If required, luminaires can be replaced without affecting the existing configuration. This reduces maintenance effort, minimizes downtime, and increases operational reliability—an essential advantage for facility managers and operators of complex building infrastructures.

The ability to control individual lighting zones separately makes DACO® PRO especially valuable for teaching, training, and event scenarios.
